Project Description

This new development at Western Court on the edge of the main University Campus is adjacent to the new University Medical School and the Western Infirmary.

The Biomedical Research Centre will comprise a Basement Plant Room Floor, and five laboratory floors

All Laboratory floors are arranged with flexible open plan laboratories on one side, a central core of shared specialist laboratories, with offices and Writing Rooms along the other side entered from the main communication corridor.

The buildings have very high quality external finishes comprising terracotta rainscreen panels with natural sandstone and curtain walling at the lift and stair towers at the ends of the blocks.
