Established in 1911, we have grown to four studios in Glasgow, London, Belfast and Aberdeen, and in the last 100 years we have built up significant experience in designing innovative buildings and environments for education, healthcare and sciences projects.

BMJ has been shaping communities for over 100 years and we take the environmental impact of our work very seriously. We understand our responsibility to create sustainable buildings and for every project we incorporate good design practices to consider the whole life of a building and the impact that it has on the wider environment.

We have completed many projects with a BREEAM rating of excellent and we currently have one outstanding BREEAM project at design stage, the first of its kind in Scotland.
