Customer Service Centre

Project Discription

This project is located within the 19th century Grade “A” listed Municipal Buildings in Greenock. The building itself is viewed as the face of Inverclyde Council and is an important feature of the town.

The scope of the works was to refurbish the ground floor area to house the Council’s public services. The proposals are split into 3 main areas, the contact centre, meeting rooms and a mezzanine floor dedicated to staff call handling.

The addition of the mezzanine floor and the forming of floor to ceiling openings give the building a large flexible open plan area within the constraints of the existing historic building.

Architecturally the design creates modern office accommodation within the context of a 19th Century building, with modern design elements and materials complimenting the existing details of the original building.
