Enterprise Lab at Imperial College London

Project Discription

A three month refurbishment for Imperial College as both Architect and Principal Designer. The £1.1m project was located within the central library building’s basement. The space was created as a new Centre for Enterprise and Innovation and offers flexible working space that includes hot-desking, meeting and lecture facilities where students can pitch ideas to external business and can be used for cluster group working, seminars and exhibitions. There is currently no other space within the College for these purposes. This area incorporates the latest in touch screen technology for learning and teaching.

The finishes were designed to create a pleasant, light and airy working environment in an area with little natural light. The front entrance was refreshed with new decoration and the addition of a ramped access.
