Vicky Jarvis

She is currently Project Architect for New Darwin at the University of Edinburgh, a major new bioscience hub for the School of Biological Sciences that will support interdisciplinary research, innovation and learning.
Passionate about creating environments that have a lasting positive impact, Vicky combines technical expertise with a collaborative and people-focused approach. She is committed to supporting the development of others, leading by example through mentoring, staff training and knowledge sharing within the profession.
Alongside her project work, Vicky has made significant contributions to the architectural community. She has served as a Trustee of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) Council, Vice-President of the Glasgow Institute of Architects (GIA), and Communications Convener for the GIA. She has also been elected Treasurer of Milton of Campsie Community Council, reflecting her commitment to supporting local communities and civic engagement.
Outside of architecture, Vicky enjoys exploring new destinations and cultures through travel, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time in the garden. These interests fuel her creativity, curiosity and appreciation for the spaces and environments that bring people together.
