Associate
Graham is an Associate with 15+ years’ experience across Education, Residential, Commercial, Transportation and Defence. At his previous practice he led the Transportation and Defence sector profiles in Scotland, developing new opportunities and securing repeat commissions from key clients.
A Certified Passive House Designer, he led delivery of Blackridge Early Years Centre—Scotland’s first local-authority-funded education facility to achieve Passivhaus certification. He co-led the Carbon Reductions working group, developing methods to measure and reduce operational and embodied carbon, and worked with the BIM Automation team to create tools and workflows that streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy. He also provides low-energy/passive design training and is undertaking the AECB CarbonLite Retrofit (C3) course.
Graham specialises in managing multi-site frameworks and leading teams of Architects, Technicians and Assistants to deliver concurrent projects—including at the Edinburgh Airport campus, for local authority school programmes, and within the MOD estate. He plans resources and manages commercial performance to keep teams well equipped and finances robust, and he frequently provides technical support on complex detailing, tender packages, specifications and construction information.
