William Penney Data Science Institute
A Centre for Data
The refurbished William Penney Building ground floor accommodates the prestigious new Imperial College Data Science Institute (DSI). The space was designed to accommodate both the DSI and act as a collaborative space with its national and international partners including KPMG.
The aim of the new space was to create Big Data research institute that is world renowned for research in and across the core technologies that are driving the Big Data revolution. The Data Science Innovations Hub focuses on research themes in data science and technology that are new and/or difficult for individual departments to pursue independently due to their unique cross-departmental nature.
