Helen joined BMJ Architects in 2004 and has a diverse portfolio spanning small-scale refurbishments and estate interventions through to complex major refurbishment and new-build projects. She is recognised for establishing project vision at the earliest stages, working closely with clients and stakeholders to define strategic objectives and develop robust briefs that support successful delivery.
A skilled leader and trusted advisor, Helen excels in complex stakeholder environments, bringing together clients, users, consultants and project teams to build consensus and achieve shared goals. She acts as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication, collaboration and informed decision-making.
Helen is passionate about unlocking the potential of people, projects and places. She translates complex requirements into clear design strategies, identifies opportunities, manages risk and guides teams towards successful outcomes. Outside architecture, Helen is often asked whether she performed with Cirque du Soleil. The answer is no, but she did work in the kitchen, helping keep the performers fed while the real acrobatics happened elsewhere.
